Hitelap Co. was established by OMFB, MTA co-operative and the Bank Budapest in 1989 for professional printed circuit manufacturing. Hitelap history is defined by two distinguishable periods. The period after establishment is typical of production deployment, work up the technology and build of an export market next to the extant domestic market.
The set up of the production was defined in one hand by the investment possibilities on the other hand by the building, what was designed for other intent. That's mean, the purchasing of the new equipment wasn't limited by the technology but the place availability. On meantime we gained a remarkable domestic market share with the growing German and Austrian partners. The runner market of electronics what we experienced until middle of 1998 affords us a possibility for an efficient management.

The decline of the I. semester in 1999 required urgent arrangements what would assure of an expansion of the market share, correct market following up, and more rational production. Our first Strategic Plan was made at the end of 1998 and it was accepted in 1999 what analyzed the capability of Hitelap and recorded the next 3 years (until end of 2002) company developments.

Main steps of the 3 years plan:

• To built the requested and needed infrastructure
• Production-organization (reduced production place from 4 floor to 1,5 floor)
• Production traceability and managing automation, modern computer managing system
• Needed and sufficient increasing of the production technology
• All development has to be realized without any production interruption.

The project what was mentioned above has been realized and the problems have been solved next to continuous production. The present technology level of Hitelap is the equal to the average European level in every view. To keep up this level we have an insured investment policy from our owners what guarantee the investment/development value of 500-600 thousand EUR/year.
